Can I make money selling travel?
Yes! But you have to work. I have learned that it takes time and commitment to succeed.
How am I paid?
You invoice this office within 72 hours of booking and when the office sees the money they will pay you.
How much am I paid?
You are paid 20% of money earned if you just refer the sale. You earn 70% of money earned if book and sell the travel that you invoice.
Example: If you send someone to buy at the office and they book a trip to Disney and that trip earns $1000.00 in commission:
Your Earnings
Referred by you...$200.00
You book and sell...$700.00
What if I want to book for myself?
Book it for yourself (no charge). If the office books it for you there is a charge of $35.00 per Transaction.
Can I charge extra?
Yes…We encourage you to charge what the market will bear (at least 10%). Everyone should be compensated for their time.
How do I get clients?
We discuss that in training. If you need more help, please contact us.
Where do I look for the best deal?!
You will have a list provided at training to give you locations on the web to go to. Check it first and if you still can’t find what you’re looking for please feel free to contact us.
If I call the office will I be charged a $35.00 fee?
Only if the office does the work. If you just asked directions there is no fee.
How do I invoice?
To submit an invoice, click on the invoice menu tab above and fill out the online form. It must be submitted within 72 hours of the booking.
Can I send my customers to www.freedomtravel4you.com site to book travel?
No! You are a travel agent and should book their travel. Or you can refer them to the office and you will still earn a referral commission.
What has to be on the invoice for me to be paid?
Booking number, booking date, vendor, travel dates and all names of travelers.
What is the Iatan Card?
It is the industries way of identifying you as a travel agent.
A lot of the deep discounting done for travel agents requires this card.
What is a CLIA card?
This is a card to identify members of CRUISE LINES INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION. Our agency is a member. You can sign up with them through us. They have a lot of educational information that can help you market travel.
